Are your services covered by OHIP?

We are a private practice, therefore, we are not covered by OHIP.

What are the fees?

Counselling offered by a Psychotherapist is $180/hr. Fees for some services, such as family therapy, coaching and group therapy, may be offered at a different rate. Some sliding scale spots are available.

How do I get started?

You may contact us or book online. We offer a free 15-minute telephone consultation. Getting started is simple.

How many sessions will I need?

Each individuals situation is unique and the number of sessions, and frequency of sessions will be discussed collaboratively with you and your therapist.

Do you have a waitlist?

No waitlist. We believe in access to support when and where you need it.

Are services covered under extended health insurance plans?

Yes, psychotherapy services are covered by most extended healthcare benefits. Please check your coverage to ensure services provided by a “Registered Psychotherapist” will qualify under your benefits package. Please contact your insurance provider for more information about your coverage options.

What can I expect during a first session?

During the first appointment, we will provide an introduction and share some information with you. Our goal is to make you feel comfortable as “firsts” can feel awkward sometimes. The beginning of the session will include a review of the inform consent form. We have an intake questionnaire that will help us learn more about your hisory, your goals and what brought you in for therapy.

What are your office hours and cancellation policy?

We offer appointments throughout the day, early morning, daytime, lunch hour, some evening and weekends.

We require 48 hours notice for cancellations in order to best accommodate appointment preferences and better manage our schedules. Sessions cancelled/re-scheduled 24-48 hours before a scheduled session may be subject to a 50% fee of the session rate. Sessions cancelled/re-scheduled less than 24 hours before a scheduled session may be subject to a 100% fee of the session rate.
